Operating The Alarm
The Motion Sensor Alarm has been designed to be as user friendly and simple to operate as possible. The simple steps below detail exactly how the alarm is operated and acts as a useful reference. These instructions are also printed on the package inlay.
- Press and hold the alarm button on the main unit for 3 seconds to power up. A beep tome will sound and LED will flash.
- Press and hold the alarm button again to select the volume level. The unit has four volume settings.
- Press the button on the key fob to arm the unit. A beep tone will sound.
- Upon sensing minor movement the alarm unit will sound.
- When the alarm is sounding, press the key fob button to disarm the device. To re-arm, press the key fob button again. A beep tone will sound.
- Press and hold the alarm button for 2 seconds to power down. A beep tone will sound.
Please Note
- Ensure that the alarm unit is fully charged before use. The alarm will require a 4 hour initial charge and 2 hours for all subsequent charges. Once charged, the unit will operate for a minimum of 12 hours without the need for further charging.
- Once the alarm is sounding, it will not stop unless the key fob is pressed or the battery removed.
- If the alarm sounds but the unit stops moving (for example: accidentally), it will reset after 10 seconds and then continue monitoring.
- The alarm will automatically begin monitoring 30 seconds after it has been powered up, even if the key fob button has not been pressed.
- The alarm unit can be charged via connection to a USB port.
- The key fob battery will need to be changed when it fails to arm or disarm the main unit.
